An original piece of WW2 RAF Harvard training aircraft. It has been hand painted by me with a cartoon rabbit flying a plane as painted on the training planes of the 5th BFTS training school.
The part number and inspectors stamps confirm that the piece came from port side horizontal stabilizer tip in original paint of training yellow.
It was made Noorduyn in Canada a wartime built aircraft.
It was an RAF aircraft in WW2 and was in service post war with the RAF at Boscombe Down. It has a service tag that shows it was removed in the 1980's and has been in storage with them since then.
It stands up on its own so can sit on a desk or shelf.
It measures 36 cm tall x 26 cm wide x 9 cm deep.
